Das traditionsreiche Bardentreffen in Nürnberg steht in den Startlöchern und verwandelt die gesamte Innenstadt ab heute wieder für drei Tage in eine pulsierende Open-Air-Bühne für Musikliebhaber. Vom 1. bis 3. August 2025 präsentieren Künstlerinnen und Künstler aus aller Welt ein vielseitiges Programm zwischen Folk, Pop, Rock, Jazz und Weltmusik auf acht Spielstätten – gestreut vom Hauptmarkt bis zur Insel Schütt, vom Trödelmarkt bis zur St. Katharina-Kirche.

Freier Eintritt, niedrigste Zugangsbarrieren
Seit fast fünf Jahrzehnten bleibt Deutschlands größtes kostenloses Open-Air-Festival seinem Grundprinzip treu: freier Eintritt, niedrigste Zugangsbarrieren und große musikalische Bandbreite. Auch 2025 rechnet die Stadt mit über 200 000 Gästen und rund 400 Künstler*innen. Leitmotiv in diesem Jahr ist das Thema „Respect!“, das musikalisch wie organisatorisch für ein achtsames Miteinander steht.
Festival-Highlights: Die Topacts 2025 auf einen Blick
Zu den diesjährigen Topacts zählen am heutigen Freitag Funk-Bassistin Nik West (USA), die ab 21:30 Uhr auf dem Hauptmarkt mit einem energiegeladenen Mix aus Funk, Soul und Rock auftritt; gleichzeitig bringt Chocolate Remix (ARG) um 21:45 Uhr auf der Insel Schütt queer-feministischen Reggaeton mit Cumbia- und Funk-Einflüssen auf die Bühne. Am Samstag übernimmt Indie-Shooting-Star Paula Carolina (DE) um 21:30 Uhr den Hauptmarkt, während Kolektif Istanbul (TUR) zeitgleich am Sebalder Platz sein explosives Jubiläums-Set aus Balkan-Brass, anatolischen Grooves und Electro feiert; zuvor sorgt Izo FitzRoy (GB) ab 19:30 Uhr auf der Insel Schütt für kraftvollen Vintage-Soul mit Gospel-Anleihen. Den Festivalschlusspunkt setzt am Sonntag um 20:30 Uhr die nigerianische Sängerin Nneka auf dem Hauptmarkt mit einer eindringlichen Fusion aus Reggae, Soul und Hip-Hop.
